It has been over two months since I installed my experimental workshop in the gorges of the White. I started working on a tributary, then I walked the narrow depths, wet and slippery in this valley. From there I went back upstream, taking advantage of all these places I found to affix my ephemeral traces on the black rock or rocks. Currently, the entry or exit, depending on where you come from, what interests me. Alas, I am not yet willing to show you what I created in the gorge but for those who inhabit the region, it is still possible to see what's coming password. Despite the recent disappearance of several works, most of them are very well maintained despite the succession of rainy weather in recent weeks.
Illumination
Last night while I was finishing my last achievement, I was surprised by the speed of dark. The recent schedule changes are a bit tricky to understand, especially in this place which is very fast in the shade. With the lack of brightness, I have not even had time to take pictures. I returned this morning to capture the scene. The sun was well in the axis of the valley when I started taking the pictures. The bottom of the gorge was slowly lit up to create this thin corridor of light.

When I saw the morning light in the middle of the river, I immediately sought to achieve something . I chose a few pebbles rolled rapidly to the bottom of the stream and put them balanced on a bed of gravel surfaced in the light. Beyond this assembly might sound simplistic and trite, it is something much stronger in this valley that gives a true identity. At first glance, it's a groove like the others that drains water from a tray and a massive upstream. But it is also an administrative boundary. On the left, you're in the Hautes-Alpes and right, in the Alpes de Haute-Provence. To my knowledge there is no big distention between the two sides but there is always this kind of report suspicious registrations between 05 and 04. To believe that we do not have the same standard. Since then, I tend to keep that name for all works which, like this, will find themselves in the middle of this route map that defines the territory.
